HADAR

Terms of Service

Effective date: August 27, 2026
Last updated: August 27, 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Geist Labs LLC ("Team Hadar", "we", "us") for your use of the Hadar application. By installing or using Hadar, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. What Hadar is

Hadar is a reference tool for airline pilots. It reads documents you already have, does arithmetic on them, and shows you the result at a glance — your pay, your schedule, your seniority standing, your duty and rest limits, your logbook.

2. What Hadar is not

Hadar is not an authority, and it is not a record. This is the most important term in this document.

You are responsible for verifying anything that matters against the official source before acting on it. Hadar is designed to be glanced at, never to be obeyed.

3. Independence

Hadar is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Delta Air Lines, Inc., the Air Line Pilots Association, the Federal Aviation Administration, or any airline, union, or government agency. All trademarks, airline names, and document names belong to their respective owners and are used only to describe what Hadar reads.

4. Your responsibility as an employee

You are responsible for your own compliance with your employer's policies, your collective bargaining agreement, and any applicable regulation regarding the use of third-party applications and the handling of company documents. Only put a document into Hadar if you are permitted to have it and to process it this way. Do not use Hadar in any manner or at any time that conflicts with your employer's policies or with the safe conduct of a flight.

5. Your data and your documents

You keep ownership of everything you put into Hadar. You grant us only the narrow permission needed to process a document you submit, for the moments it takes to process it, and to return the result to you. We do not store your documents, and we claim no other rights in them. How this works in detail is set out in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

6. Subscription and payment

7. Acceptable use

Hadar is licensed to you personally, for your own professional use. You may not:

8. Availability and change

Hadar is a small, independently built product. We do not promise uninterrupted availability. We may change, suspend, or remove features — including features you rely on — as the app develops, as the documents it reads change, or as the services it depends on change or disappear. Where a change would remove something you have paid for, we will give you notice and you may cancel.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Hadar is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that Hadar's calculations are correct, that it will be available when you need it, or that it will be free of errors.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any lost pay, lost income, lost opportunity, missed trip, disciplinary consequence, regulatory consequence, or loss of data, arising out of or relating to your use of Hadar — including any loss arising from a number Hadar displayed being wrong.

Our total liability for all claims relating to Hadar is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for Hadar in the twelve months before the claim arose, or (b) twenty United States dollars.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If you are a consumer, you keep any non-waivable rights your local law gives you.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, and expenses arising from your misuse of Hadar, your breach of these terms, or your violation of your employer's policies or applicable law.

12. Termination

You may stop using Hadar at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any subscription in Google Play. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these terms, or if we discontinue the app. Sections 2, 3, 5, and 9 through 14 survive termination.

13. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction — except where the mandatory law of your country of residence gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.

Before filing anything, please email us. Nearly every dispute about a pay calculation turns out to be a parsing bug we would rather fix than argue about. We will make a genuine effort to resolve your issue within 30 days.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Hadar after that means you accept the updated terms. The effective date at the top always reflects the current version.

15. Entire agreement

These terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between us about Hadar. If any provision is held unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
